Missing teeth

Missing teeth are sometimes detected in routine radiography. Some people are not aware that their teeth may be missing. In a young child, the common teeth that are missing are the lower second premolars, followed by the upper lateral incisors, and the  upper second premolars. In adults, the most common missing teeth are the wisdom teeth.
